Oh I love it so!
I know it's naked as a jay bird handle wise but I promise you I'm just holding out for the perfect ones.
In the mean time I just had to show you what a $1 can of pale blue sample paint, some leftover white paint, and a little tape can do (makes me do a happy dance) for a tired old dresser.
I'm currently deciding on the handles, I'd love to make some like we did with our kitchen knobs
but I think some brushed nickel bin pulls would look pretty snazzy on her too.
Now all I need is to get my desk all finished and I will finally have my Ma'am Cave!
I think I'll have to share this in a few places,
like these:
Blue Stripey Peace!
This is so cute, I love the stripes too! Following you now too. I just am in the middle of painting my bath cabs cream and blue. I love how it is coming along.
ReplyDeleteHow about those little roundish-squareish glass knobs? They come in all kinds of pale or dark colors, and I think the crystal clear or cobalt blue would look amazing? But then again, I am a huge fan of brushed nickle!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dresser!
ReplyDeleteWow! This is just beautiful. I love the stripes and the color combination is perfect.
ReplyDeleteYour desk turned out really cute! I can't wait to see the knobs!
ReplyDeleteI love it. The stripes are subtle but beautiful and it's such a neat piece to begin with. Great job!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Tatertots and Jello.
Looks great, the knobs in your kitchen are amazing, what a fun idea. My favorite babysitter (age 14) has Ulceritive Colitis, and had to take her Colon out this week. That would be a hard thing to live with. Anyway, I am sure you will find some great pulls, I have found some great ones on Ebay.

GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Merrilee. I love your dresser. Unlike some people I love the older waterfall dressers, they remind me of my mom's old bedroom furniture. The stripes look lovely. :) I'm having two cute giveaways on my blog, one ends tonight at 11:59pm http://www.alwaysinwonder.com/2011/02/friday-finds-giveaway.html and the other doesn't end till next friday http://www.alwaysinwonder.com/2011/03/friday-finds-featuring-beifiori.html if you're interested you should stop by and enter. :)
